SOLD - CANTING KEEL MINI TRANSAT - RACE READY

USA415 is a Mini 6.50 Prototype, a custom offshore race boat designed for short-handed racing. The overall length is a mere 21 feet, but the articulating bowsprit and wide beam double the fun — making this pocket rocket capable of high speeds and ocean crossings. In fact, a whole fleet of them race across the Atlantic bi-annually with solo skippers in the Mini Transat Race!

There are two divisions in the Mini class: production and prototype. The prototype boats, like USA415, have more advanced and liberal design features like a canting keel, dagger boards, carbon fiber hull & rig. USA415 is a particularly special prototype having undergone a full refit in 2018 with all new top and bottom paint, nke electronics system, new rudders and various other upgrades.
