Community Partners
Wind Athletes Canada is a founding partner of Ocean Racers, formerly Canadian Ocean Racing. In 2015, the Ocean Racers team leased Open 60 O Canada from Wind Athletes to build the next generation of ocean racers while competing on behalf of Canada in international offshore events. Today Ocean Racers continues the generosity and mission of Wind Athletes by providing scholarship sailing opportunities to youth sailors.
The Mustang Survival Annapolis - Bermuda Race is a bi-annual ocean race that is dedicated to inclusivity. Ocean Racers have partnered with the A2B Race to create a custom race training and education program for potential crew and boat owners alike to prepare for the race. From seminars and safety at sea events to offshore training passages, Ocean Racers and A2B team are working together to help more sailors race confidently offshore.
Ocean Racers are proud members of the Royal Ocean Racing Club, the premier leader in ocean racing events worldwide. The team competes in many RORC events such as the Transatlantic, Caribbean 600 and Rolex Middle Sea Race. Ocean Racers also supports RORC's Under 35 development missions by offering scholarship sailing opportunities to members of this elite group.
