What to Bring

We encourage that everyone pack smart and light. Be mindful of your itinerary, and expect early/late season offshore passages to be cold.*

Suggested packing list:
-quick-dry shirts and shorts (no more than 2-3 of each)
-UV long sleeve shirt to protect from sun (we provide 1 team shirt!)
-light sailing/rain jacket for wind and squalls

-underwear & socks (merino wool recommended — no smell!)
-work out/comfortable clothes (to sleep and relax in)
-non-marking shoes and sandals
-shore clothing (there are some parties ashore, but mostly casual dress in the sailing community!)
-camera, ipad, kindle & regular ole books! Don’t forget the cords!
-sun hat & sunglasses
-bathing suit
-head light  (must have red light option)
-water bottle with clip/carabiner (to reduce waste at sea as well as encourage sanitary hydration at all times)
-optional: sailing gloves, pants, boots and jackets

*For cold weather, add:
-base layers: merino wool pants and top
-mid layer: fleece or other easy-drying jacket layer
-wool hat, warm gloves, boots
-sleeping bag

We supply bedding (pillow & sheets), towels, basic toiletries, lifejackets, personalAIS and foul weather gear — so just bring your own personal gear in a soft travel bag. Firm, boxy suitcases are discouraged as they are difficult to store onboard. Please also limit your gear to "carry on" sizes - 1 large and 1 small personal bag.

We proudly wear Mustang Survival gear and can provide a full recommended kit list upon request.

Pro Tip: Pack you gear in 1 large bag, and bring a small "day bag" to keep your daily personal items like phone, glasses, toothbrush/toothpaste, etc.
